+ NUMBER OF STUDENTS PER CLASS

It is important for students to get the correct amount of attention to progress in their dance training. Each age level has been given a minimum and maximum number of students allowed to participate in class at a time.
2-4 yrs: 6-12 students per class 5+6 yrs: 6-12 students per class 7-10 yrs: 6-12 students per class 11+ yrs: 6-12 students per class Tumble: 6-8 students per class Aerial Dance: 6-8 students per class

+ ENROLLMENT

Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. For full classes, a waiting list will be maintained to accommodate other students if and when space becomes available. Classes are limited in size and students are grouped according to age and ability level. Classes begin in September and end in June with our annual Spring Performance. Registration fees and first payments are due at time of enrollment.

+ CLASS PLACEMENT

All students will be placed in classes according to age, ability, and experience. Students will be evaluated the first four weeks of class to ensure proper placement has been made. Each student will progress to the next level once they have mastered the material in their present level. Please DO NOT expect a dancer to be in the same class as his/her friend. Class placement is NOT made for convenience.

+ ATTENDANCE

Our studio requires all students to arrive to class regularly and on time. Please notify the office and the instructor if you will be missing classes for an extended period due to illness or vacation. In the interest of the children's safety, students arriving more than 15 minutes late into a class will observe only.
Children under 7 should be accompanied by an adult. Small children should be taken to the bathroom prior to class to help minimize frequent "potty breaks".
Our staff does not guarantee supervision of a child dropped off early or picked up late from class. If you are running late, please call the studio as soon as possible. This will ease the child's nerves as well as allow us to make special arrangements as needed.

+ OBSERVATION

The waiting room is currently closed duo to the pandemic. Once it is open, the studio offers an observation week throughout the season. Class observation is done through closed circuit cameras, allowing you to watch your child’s progression September through March.

+ MONTHLY NEWSLETTERS

Monthly newsletters will be posted on the studio website. They will provide you with information regarding tuition reminders, dates the studio will be closed that month, inspirational dance quotes, observation weeks and any other studio updates.

+ WAITING ROOM ETIQUETTE

Currently our waiting room is closed due to the pandemic. when it is open, we ask that you please keep the waiting area quiet and be considerate to those students trying to learn in class. Proper behavior is expected by all who enter the studio. Food and beverages may be consumed in the waiting room. Only water is allowed in the studio.

+ PAYMENTS

Tuition is payable monthly in advance, and due on the first class of each month. Please see our office manager Cheryl with any and all billing questions. There are no tuition refunds for withdrawal from class during any given month. Please refrain from sending payments in with younger students as they easily get misplaced. There will not be any guarenteed make up classes, refunds, or credits given to anyone if the studio is shut down due to pandemics. Tuition that is two months behind will result in termination of class. A re-registration fee would then apply. There will not be any guarenteed make up classes, refunds, or credits given to anyone if the studio is shut down due to pandemics.

+ WITHDRAWALS OR CLASS CHANGES

The studio requires written notice to the office to discontinue class/classes. Once you have made your monthly tuition payment it is non-refundable. You will be responsible for the full month’s tuition. A parent is responsible for letting the instructor know if their child will not be returning to a class. If a student is adding or changing a class a written notification must be given to the office before starting the new class.There will not be any guarenteed make up classes, refunds, or credits given to anyone if the studio is shut down due to pandemics.

+ MISSED CLASSES AND REFUNDS

There are no pro-rated fees for missed classes or holidays. There will be no refunds for classes missed due to illness or injuries. Payments may not be reduced in order to accommodate family vacations.There will not be any guarenteed make up classes, refunds, or credits given to anyone if the studio is shut down due to pandemics.

+ MAKEUP CLASSES

It is sometimes inevitable that we need to schedule a make-up class due to inclement weather or teacher illness. To make up your missed class due to these circumstances you will be given another time to attend a similar class during the week; this information will be posted on the main bulletin board. Please note that this class may not be exactly as the one you originally attend. All make-ups must be made within two weeks of a missed class. Please notify the office before coming to a make-up class. NO REFUNDS OR DISCOUNTS ARE GIVEN FOR MISSED CLASSES. There will not be any guarenteed make up classes, refunds, or credits given to anyone if the studio is shut down due to pandemics.

+ RIGHT TO CANCEL

A Dance Vision by Nicole reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. In this event, another class will be suggested. If you are unable to continue in the new class and withdraw, any unused tuition will be refunded.

+ RECITAL COSTUMES

Costumes can range in prices from $55-$65 per costume. Once costumes have been ordered, you are responsible for full costume payment, even if the student withdraws from class prior to the recital. Costume companies are general in size and are not custom fit. You are responsible for minor alterations, i.e. hems, tucks, sewing straps or snaps. Recital costumes are given to students only after the tuition, costume balance, and if applicable, competition balances have been paid up to date. Tights and shoes are not included in the costume price. For any costume balances that are not paid on time a $20.00 surcharge will apply.
Costume Deposits/Balances - A $45 costume deposit per routine will be applied to all accounts on Nov 1st and is due on Novemeber 15th. (tap n jazz combo classes have 2 costumes) November 16th the remaining costume BALANCE (the remaining amount owed) will post on accounts. All costume charges MUST be paid in full by November 30th. Any costume charges that are not paid in time, will need to be ordered at a later date and will cost as extra $25 per costume. No costume will be ordered without payment! Once you pay your costume deposit, you are responsible for the entire costume cost including the costume balance amount.

+ LATE FEES AND RETURNED CHECKS

Due to the pandemic, all accounts must now be on our auto-pay option. During a normal season... A $10.00 late fee will automatically be added to your account after the 10th of the month. And an additional $5.00 will be added if payment is not received by the 15th for a total of $15.00. WE DO NOT SEND STATEMENTS! Once enrolled, you are responsible for monthly payments without receiving a monthly reminder. A $25.00 processing fee will be added for all returned checks. The studio reserves the right to discontinue a dancer's classes for non-payment of tuition and fees when necessary.

+ RECITAL

The recital will be held at the Timberlane Performing Arts Center in Plaistow NH. As part of their participation in the show, students learn showmanship, teamwork skills, memorization of patterns, and how to express individual personalities. Dance costumes are required to be purchased for each dance class. More specific information about recital will be sent home with students in December.
